About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Guide to join our team at Ehlanzeni, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional safari experiences that exceed our guests’ expectations. As a key member of our operations team, you will be expected to provide top-notch service, share your knowledge of wildlife and conservation, and contribute to the overall success of our reserve.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting guided safaris
- Ensuring the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of guests throughout their safari experience
- Hosting guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing informative and engaging insights
- Facilitating guest transfers to and from safari destination when required
- Creating compelling content for social media platforms
- Performing all other basic duties on the reserve and in the lodge
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum FGASA Level 1 / 2
- At least 3 years experience in a similar 5* environment
- DEAT registration
- Back Up / Full Trails
- CATHSSETA registration
- First Aid Level 1 certification
- Rifle Competency for wildlife management and guest safety
- Valid Drivers License with PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
