About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Administrator to join our team in Ekurhuleni. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the external sales team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the external sales team.
- Assist with the preparation of sales quotations and proposals.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Follow up on quotations and convert them into confirmed orders where possible.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Ensure prompt response to customer queries, requests, and complaints.
- Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers.
- Capture and process orders on the internal system.
- Liaise with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor order status and keep customers updated on progress.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
- Generate sales reports and assist with tracking sales targets.
- Update CRM systems and maintain database accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Valid Drivers License & Own Vehicle.
- Matric.
- MS Office & SAGE Pastel proficiency.
