About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Manager at Unique Personnel Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of our Food Safety Management System (FSMS). You will promote a food safety culture within the organization and coordinate changes to improve the system. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of FSMS.
- Promote food safety culture.
- Coordinate changes within FSMS and ensure improvements are made.
- Manage and coordinate activities from Department – VPH, FSA, and Veterinarians.
- Facilitate Department of Veterinary health and FSA audits.
- Coordinate HAS Audits.
- Provide feedback on corrections, corrective actions, and implementation of latter on HAS audits and HMS.
- Coordinate the activities related to abattoir with regards to feedlot and provide feedback to management.
- Ensure that activities related to verification are managed, controlled, and updated when required.
- Ensure that all relevant training is performed in line with needs analysis and competency is verified.
- Report to top management on the effectiveness of the FSMS as well as suitability to improve the FSMS.
- Facilitate management review meetings.
- Establish communication channels to address FSMS on all levels.
- Adhere to the duties and responsibilities set out in Food Safety Team Protocols.
- Ensure overall quality of products are maintained and comply with set specifications.
- Prepare reports for each test performance for measuring product quality, quantity, and composition for certificate of analysis.
- Manage quality control and QA activities.
- Set quality standards and communicate with the quality control staff.
- Trending of all activities.
- Analyze verification activities.
- Coordinate inputs from external experts and advisors.
- Prepare and communicate non-conformance reports to relevant parties.
- Arrange, coordinate, and participate in external audits (FSSC, HALAAL, HAS, WW&PPECB), internal audits, and customer audits.
