About the Role
We are seeking a talented Breakfast Sous Chef to join a world-class Fine-Dining Restaurant Group in Franschhoek, South Africa. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Morning Leadership: Oversee the breakfast service, ensuring every dish meets the group’s renowned standards.
- Culinary Excellence: Prepare and plate sophisticated breakfast and brunch offerings with meticulous attention to detail.
- Kitchen Management: Assist the Head Chef in managing stock, prep lists, and maintaining a high-pressure, high-reward kitchen environment.
- Consistency: Ensure the highest levels of hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor the junior morning brigade to ensure a seamless service.
Requirements
Previous experience in a fine-dining or high-end boutique hotel kitchen. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team during a fast-paced morning service. A deep understanding of contemporary breakfast trends and elevated plating techniques.

Formal education/certifications (e.g., Bachelor’s, Matric) not specified.
Salary & Benefits
R18,000 – R23,000 (Depending on Experience).
