About the Role
The Brand & Activations Account Manager will be responsible for managing key client relationships, developing and executing brand activation strategies, and driving business growth through effective project management and pipeline management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop quarterly Account Relationship Plans for each key account
- Obtain approval on account plans
- Execute account plans consistently throughout the quarter
- Attend and lead client meetings (project-based)
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Conduct and monitor customer satisfaction surveys
- Ensure client retention and long-term account growth
- Ensure all projects are run in accordance with defined company processes
- Develop detailed project plans per project (using required templates)
- Ensure each project has a detailed SOP
- Obtain client approval on:
- Project plans
- Scope of Work (SOW)
- Chair weekly project meetings
- Upload meeting notes to OneDrive on the same day
- Deliver projects on time and within budget
- Share weekly Operations Reports (including pipeline, active projects, resource requirements)
- Develop and maintain a risk register per project
- Identify and mitigate:
- Internal risks
- Client risks
- Ensure brand promise is upheld throughout operational execution
- Source relevant suppliers per project
- Negotiate favourable pricing and terms
- Ensure suppliers deliver:
- On time
- Within budget
- In line with project plans
- Ensure valid leads are maintained in the pipeline
- Ensure sufficient resources are available for projects
- Prevent loss of projects due to insufficient capacity
- Support revenue growth and profitability targets
- Manage and oversee promoters to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Brief promoters clearly on campaign objectives, deliverables, and brand standards.
- Coordinate promoter schedules, allocations, and deployment according to project requirements.
- Monitor promoter performance and ensure targets and KPIs are achieved.
- Address on-site challenges and provide prompt solutions to ensure smooth activations.
- Maintain consistent communication between promoters, clients, and internal teams.
- Ensure all campaign reporting, feedback, and performance tracking is completed accurately and on time.
- Uphold brand standards and ensure quality execution across all activations.
- Oversee day-to-day business operations within company structures
- Ensure profitability and operational efficiency targets are met
- Contribute to strategic growth
- Drive cost-effective team functioning
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Activations, Promotions, Marketing, Brand, or Project Management, supported by proven experience in brand activations, promotional campaigns, and key account management.
- Proven project management experience, including developing detailed project plans, SOPs, and Scope of Work agreements, and delivering multiple activations on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with clients, understanding brand objectives, identifying client needs, tailoring solutions, building trusted relationships, and negotiating commercially sound pricing and supplier terms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using sales software and client relationship management (CRM) tools to manage reporting, pipeline tracking, and operational documentation.
Qualifications
- A valid driver’s licence, own reliable transport, and the ability and flexibility to work extended hours and travel as per business requirements.
