About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team at Psybergate, where you will be responsible for performing deep-dive analysis across diverse datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities. Key Responsibilities

Perform deep-dive analysis across diverse datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities
Translate business and project requirements into actionable data solutions and insights
Manage and deliver multiple ad hoc reporting requests with accuracy and relevance
Design and maintain scalable data models to support analytics and reporting
Understand and manage end-to-end data flows, from source systems to reporting layers
Develop and optimise data pipelines and integrations using modern development practices
Work with enterprise databases including IBM DB2, Oracle, Netezza, and SQL Server to extract, transform, and analyse data
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical specifications and reporting frameworks
Create dashboards and reports using Power BI and advanced MS Excel techniques
Support AI/ML initiatives by preparing data and contributing to model development and deployment
Apply strong analytical thinking to solve complex business problems and generate insights
Document data logic, methodologies, and findings for both technical and non-technical audiences
Manage workload independently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs
Communicate insights and technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders

Requirements

Relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years’ experience in data analytics, software development, and systems architecture
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R
Extensive experience working with enterprise databases (DB2, Oracle, Netezza, SQL Server)
Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and system design principles
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, model lifecycle, and data preparation
Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
Experience with Power BI for data visualisation and reporting
Exposure to tools such as Tableau or similar is advantageous
