About the Role
Career Connect (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Invoicing Clerk to join their team in Sandton. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for accurately preparing, processing, and issuing invoices to clients, ensuring compliance with agreements and timely submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, process, and issue invoices to clients, ensuring compliance with agreements & timely submission.
- Maintain organized & up-to-date invoicing records, including reconciliations & payment schedules.
- Input invoicing data into accounting systems with precision, ensuring error-free entries.
- Manage follow-up communications for overdue invoices & assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth invoicing processes.
- Verify all invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify & correct errors.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask & meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the transport industry (advantageous but not required).
- Computer literacy, incl. proficiency in accounting software, Excel, & MS Office.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Invoicing Clerk or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree (not mentioned in original, so skipped)
