About the Role
The Marketing and Events Coordinator candidate plays a vital role in coordinating and maintaining the entity’s brand identity and promotional materials inventory. This includes coordinating and maintaining the intranet, which encompasses images, files, documents, as well as database maintenance. Reporting to the Business Growth Manager, the Marketing and Events Coordinator will be responsible for developing, creating, and implementing a wide range of activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the marketing department with initiative as operationally required.
* Compiling Reports, pertaining to market research and competitor alignment as required.
* Distributing newsletters via a CRM System.
* Develop and maintain all mailing lists ensuring they are kept up to date.
* Maintain databases (employees and clients) in support of the team.
* Collating and preparing Portal content, updates, photos, and images in relation to the events.
* Collating and preparing content, consent forms, photos, and images for Power f One stories.
* Planning & Facilitation of all events and career fairs, and Host Partner visits
* Coordinate efforts to identify new host partners through the social media platform.
* Distributing the marketing material and content.
* Preparing and ordering printed marketing collateral.
* Liaising with designers, developers, and suppliers.
* Coordinate and schedule all radio interviews and meeting invites for TV & social media interviews.
* Creating reports. Drive client service excellence and be customer oriented
* Champion and managing the Marketing RDMS Cloud.
* Assist and train new members of the Marketing Department within marketing-related information, and collateral and help them understand the business and platforms used.
Requirements
* South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
* Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
* Matric.
* Diploma in Marketing and or Branding
* Computer literate (MS Office – at least intermediary skill in word, excel, power-point).
