About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner (Senior) to join our team in Gauteng, South Africa. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for facilitating and leading Agile ceremonies, driving implementation of the product vision and roadmap, and ensuring seamless delivery across internal business, IT teams, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Align internal business, IT teams, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery
- Drive implementation of the product vision and roadmap
- Manage resources, skills, capacity, and dependencies across teams
- Ensure full transparency on progress, risks, and implementation status
- Define acceptance criteria and evaluate deliverables for release readiness
- Coach and mentor feature teams to improve Agile maturity and performance
- Oversee external consultants and ensure the quality of their deliverables
- Continuously identify and recommend process and team structure improvements
Requirements
- Extensive experience as an Agile Master / Scrum Master in complex environments
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proven ability to lead, organize, and mentor multiple teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile toolchains
