Job Description

Job Title: Retail Manager Location: Carlswald Super Spar Retail store Job Summary: The Retail Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store and ensuring the smooth running of the floor. This includes managing the staff team, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with other departments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise/manage and lead a team of staff and department managers to meet turnover targets and KPIs. 2. Monitor and analyze turnover performance,waste figures, inventory levels, and customer feedback and complaints. 3. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales such as new products,merchandising standards and improve customer service and stock avaliabilty . 4. Train and mentor staff on product knowledge, merchandising standards,store hugene requirements, and customer service. 5. Coordinate with other department managers, such as cross merchandising, to optimize store layout and promotions. 6. Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers. 7. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures at all times. 8. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide feedback, and address any issues. 9. Assist with training new staff members as needed according to spar retailer requirements and standards. 10. Stay up-to-date on retail industry trends, retail competitor activities, and market changes to identify opportunities for growth. The Retail Floor Manager plays a crucial role in the success of the retail store by leading the merchandising team, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
