About the Role
The successful candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented operations professional with strong leadership ability, a sense of ownership and the ability to work independently while driving results. Experience within warehousing, distribution and supply chain operations is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily distribution centre operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure efficient storage and stock handling practices.
- Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes.
- Investigate and resolve stock variances.
- Monitor operational KPIs and service levels.
- Resolve fulfilment issues proactively.
- Manage relationships with logistics providers.
- Resolve delivery issues and courier-related problems.
- Team leadership.
- Facility management.
- Admin and reporting.
Requirements
- Matric.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Computer literate (Shopify experience is highly advantageous).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role handling e-commerce warehousing (B2C).
- Experience handling cold chain logistics highly advantageous.
