Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Manage receiving, storage, stock control, and dispatch activities.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment requirements.
  • Implement and maintain effective warehouse procedures and controls.
  • Coordinate the accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of orders within required timelines.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory variances.
  • Manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance management, training, and development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and reporting.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse productivity and cost efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse management.
  • Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, and dispatch operations.
  • Previous experience supervising or managing warehouse staff.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse systems and inventory management processes.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
