Job Description
- Security advice to clients;
- Threat and Risk assessment;
- Client liaison and professional client relationship;
- Manpower Management, equipment Management and rostering;
- Completion of daily, weekly and monthly reports;
- Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints;
- Ensure that contractual requirements are met at all time;
- Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code;
- Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings;
- Health & Safety Management;
- Ensuring Security Officers problems that are reported are solved;
- Ensuring that all companies SOP’s are followed;
- Ensure training takes place as and when required;
- After hours’ visits and assisting with shift changes as a standby manager;
- Must be able to attend meetings and take calls to assist with matters of urgency even on rest days;
- Incident and investigation management; Reporting and mitigation;
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of good security practice, covering the physical and logical aspects of information products, systems, integrity and confidentiality;
- Willing to work split shift;
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification;
- PSIRA certification – Grade A;
- Relevant experience in a managerial or similar position;
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of risk management, business impact analysis and counter measures
- Knowledge of tools or systems which provides access security control;
- Must have confidence in dealing with the public;
- SAPS and or SANDF training will be advantageous;
- Excellent written &verbal communication skills;
- Bilingual (English and any other South African Language);
- Computer literate and knowledge of MS office;
- The ability to communicate and present to all levels and work under pressure;
- Willing to undergo polygraph test;
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
- Driver’s licence and own reliable transport;
