About the Role

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our structured 3-year Millwright Apprenticeship Programme in Germiston. As an apprentice, you will gain valuable workplace experience and theoretical training while earning a monthly stipend of R4 500 or R5 500. This is an exciting opportunity for those passionate about engineering, maintenance, and hands-on technical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified Millwrights with electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Participate in practical and theoretical apprenticeship training
• Support fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance under supervision
• Conduct inspections as required
• Learn to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping standards
• Complete training logs and maintenance documentation accurately

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science
• Technical N2/N3 qualification with relevant trade subjects
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Safety-conscious and willing to learn
• Valid drivers licence and own transport
