Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join our team in Harrismith. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute conferences, weddings, parties, and corporate meetings
  • Coordinate with clients to understand and fulfill their event requirements
  • Manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure all resources are utilized efficiently
  • Supervise and guide staff involved in event setup, catering, and other related tasks
  • Ensure all aspects of events comply with legal and safety regulations
  • Handle post-event evaluations and report on outcomes

Requirements

  • Proven track record in event and hospitality management
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Qualifications
