About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join our team in Harrismith. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute conferences, weddings, parties, and corporate meetings
- Coordinate with clients to understand and fulfill their event requirements
- Manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure all resources are utilized efficiently
- Supervise and guide staff involved in event setup, catering, and other related tasks
- Ensure all aspects of events comply with legal and safety regulations
- Handle post-event evaluations and report on outcomes
Requirements
- Proven track record in event and hospitality management
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Qualifications
