About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Debtors Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis. As part of a well-established retail group with a strong community focus, we are committed to delivering quality products, dependable service, and practical solutions to customers across the building and hardware industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all debtor transactions are processed accurately and within required timeframes
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers regarding account queries and payments
- Keep financial records organised, up to date, and easily accessible
- Monitor outstanding accounts and escalate concerns where necessary
- Contribute to an efficient and well-organised finance administration environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a debtors, accounts, or finance administration role
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Ability to manage workload efficiently and work independently within a half-day schedule
