We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our luxury hotel in Durban, with a strong focus on conferencing and events catering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing busy kitchen operations and leading full kitchen brigades effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Proven experience running a busy kitchen operation
- Strong background in high-volume service, conferencing, and events catering
- Ability to manage consistent production for banqueting and group functions
- Lead and manage full kitchen brigade effectively
- Menu planning, costing, ordering, and stock control
- Maintain consistent food quality and service standards
- Ensure smooth execution of events, conferences, and hotel dining operations
