About the Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Interior Designer to join our Luxury Hospitality Group based in Hout Bay. As an integral member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-end residential, hospitality, and retail projects that exceed client expectations. With a keen eye for detail and strong technical skills, you will play a key role in the full design process, from concept to implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute interior design concepts from initial brief to final installation
- Prepare detailed drawing packages using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Compile and manage comprehensive specification sheets
- Source furniture, finishes, and materials in line with project budgets and design intent
- Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and consultants
- Oversee installations and ensure projects are executed to the highest standard
- Manage timelines, budgets, and project deliverables
- Lead and collaborate with junior team members
Requirements
- Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience in the interior design industry (no recent graduates)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop
- Solid understanding of technical drawings and detailing
- Proven experience compiling specification sheets
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
