Job Description

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management and/or Engineering Management roles.
  • Strong EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) background.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects,
  • Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel between sites (Irene, Centurion, Sandton),
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills,
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple project streams simultaneously,
  • Strong understanding of project governance, engineering standards, and delivery frameworks,

Roles and Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Engineering Management

  • Oversee engineering design, development, and implementation across project phases.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensure integration across disciplines.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycle..

EPCM Coordination

  • Manage EPCM processes including procurement, contractor coordination, and construction oversight.
  • Ensure alignment between engineering design and construction execution.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

  • Act as primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions.
  • Provide regular project updates, reports, and risk assessments.

Risk, Quality & Compliance

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and engineering best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
