About the Role
The Building Supervisor is a critical role that oversees the management of all buildings and facilities within our organisation. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting daily building and facility inspections
- Planning, coordinating, and managing resources and operations as required
- Managing and effectively controlling cleaning operations
- Conducting ad hoc duties
- Supervising contractors working after hours
- Logging and reporting on all events and faults
- Assisting security operations across the property
- Coordinating works with Facilities Manager and Security Manager to supervise security actions
Requirements
- Grade 12
- 2-4 years experience in Facilities and Asset Register
- Good understanding of building infrastructure
- Ability to act in first line emergency response (Technical, Safety, Operational, and environmental)
