About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Downstream Petrochemicals to join a leading MNC client in Infrastructure and Services. The successful candidate will be based in The Middle East, with relocation, accommodation, and additional benefits provided. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical analysis, troubleshooting, and engineering solutions under the guidance of a Senior Engineer or Project Supervisor.
- Review, update, and implement modifications to engineering models and drawings based on project requirements and supervisory recommendations.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations using both manual methods and recognized industry-standard design software to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Conduct technical research to support design development; analyze engineering challenges and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions aligned with project objectives.
- Collaborate proactively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to address technical issues, resolve design conflicts, and manage scope changes efficiently.
- Coordinate, organize, and monitor project deliverables across multiple assignments, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality requirements, and reporting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of continuous experience in the petrochemical, oil & gas, or refinery sector, preferably within EPC or owner-operator environments.
- Familiarity with internationally recognized engineering codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ISO is strongly preferred.
