About the Role
Liberty Standard Bank Group is seeking highly skilled and experienced Financial Planners to join our rapidly expanding wealth management salesforce. As a Financial Planner with Liberty, you will have the opportunity to build your own client base, invest in your current network, and provide quality service to clients to help them achieve their personal financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and meeting potential clients
- Analyzing financial information obtained from clients to determine strategies, design products, and recommend solutions to help clients meet their financial objectives with regard to personal wealth portfolios, retirement planning, insurance, estate planning, etc.
- Completing financial needs analysis on clients
- Reviewing and responding to clients’ changing needs and financial circumstances by creating and implementing an ongoing service plan to ensure client portfolios are regularly monitored and relevant modifications are executed in a timely manner
- Protecting, securing, and growing clients’ wealth by providing independent, expert financial advice, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax planning
- Providing investment opportunities across a broad spectrum of regulated products
- Monitoring financial market trends to ensure that plans are effective and to identify any necessary updates
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance or a related field (RE5, NQF5, CFP, etc. will be beneficial but not essential)
- Finance, Financial Planning, or Wealth Management experience
- Customer-centric and results-driven personality
- Professional Communication standards
- Clear credit record with no criminal record
- Valid driver’s license (compulsory) and own reliable transport (compulsory)
Salary & Benefits
The salary for this role is highly lucrative, with commission-only earnings. Operating costs like office space, communication, IT, and general office support are included.
