About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for overseeing the full financial management and reporting function. The ideal candidate will provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making, while driving continuous improvement of financial systems, controls, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full financial management and reporting function, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business initiatives and investment decisions
- Support project feasibility assessments, including scenario analysis and risk evaluation
- Manage relationships with funders, auditors, and key external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, controls, and processes through innovation and automation
- Oversee debtor management, billing processes, and cash flow optimisation
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
Requirements
- CA (SA) or equivalent qualification
- 10+ years relevant experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong background in financial modelling, planning, and analysis
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end finance functions
- Advanced systems and Excel capability
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at a senior level
- Commercial mindset with excellent problem-solving ability
