About the Role
The Product Sales Manager | Comminution & Process Technology is a senior-level position that spearheads the strategic growth of our Comminution and Process Equipment division, transforming market opportunities into engineered solutions. This role navigates multi-million Rand tender cycles, mitigates commercial risks, and influences decision-making among Mine Planners and Process Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate 1012 years of experience in capital equipment sales within Comminution or Consulting Engineering environments.
- Develop and execute a high-level pipeline strategy across crushing and advanced sorting technologies.
- Manage large-cap tenders including legal frameworks, performance guarantees, and risk assessments.
- Lead deep-dive technical discussions regarding plant design and operational efficiency.
- Oversee precise costing, financial modelling, and technical proposal management.
- Mentor internal teams while maintaining presence during high-pressure negotiations.
- Travel into the field or country to maintain client relationships and oversee on-site requirements.
- Utilize structured sales frameworks such as Mercuri to manage long-lead-time projects.
Requirements
- 1012 years of experience in Capital Equipment Sales focused on Comminution or Consulting Engineering.
- Degree in Engineering (Metallurgy, Process, or Mechanical) is essential.
- Technical mastery of the full crushing circuit and downstream process equipment.
- Advanced capability in financial modelling, CapEx estimating, and risk mitigation.
- Proven application of structured sales methodologies and CRM platforms.
- Ability to conduct legal contract reviews and technical reporting.
