About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Operations Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. This role is crucial in maintaining day-to-day functions, handling client requests, and ensuring smooth operations between our Marketing team and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key liaison between the Marketing team and clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of client needs.
- Maintain day-to-day operations, handling client requests, arranging quotes, coordinating deliveries, and managing purchase orders.
- Process and ensure payment paperwork is accurate and submitted efficiently, collaborating with the finance department as needed.
- Coordinate elements of events, including logistics, scheduling, and ensuring all aspects are executed seamlessly.
- Provide support to the design team by handling overflow work, assisting with project coordination, and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency in marketing operations.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and contribute innovative ideas to improve operational workflows.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project timelines, ensuring that deadlines are met consistently.
Requirements
Strong organizational and planning abilities with excellent attention to detail. Effective communication skills to liaise between the Marketing team, clients, and other internal departments. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of design principles or a design background is a plus. Familiarity with project management tools and software. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
