About the Role

WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a fast-growing SaaS technology business to recruit a smart and motivated Junior Software Tester. This is a hands-on QA role for someone who enjoys finding bugs, thinking through edge cases, and helping teams release reliable software with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review specifications and write structured test plans
  • Cover happy paths, edge cases, and regression scenarios
  • Execute manual test cases for new features in staging and review environments
  • Validate cross-client behaviour and reusable module consistency
  • Simulate real-world usage scenarios across finance-sensitive workflows
  • Test permission boundaries, client scoping, and multi-tenant data isolation
  • Reproduce and document bugs with clear steps, screenshots, and logs
  • Maintain and run manual regression checks for key workflows
  • Collaborate with product managers to clarify acceptance criteria
  • Work with developers and QA to test edge cases and improve release quality

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Experience testing web applications with complex business rules
  • Strong manual testing skills
  • Ability to write clear bug reports, test cases, and reproduction steps
  • Familiarity with GitHub, staging environments, and web-based admin tools
