About the Role

Join our client’s dynamic team in Johannesburg as a Mechanical Draughtsperson! At Hire Resolve, we’re seeking a skilled individual who can bring technical drawings and plans for mechanical components and systems to life. With 8 or more years of mechanical drafting experience, you’ll play a crucial role in producing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings that ensure precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings of mechanical components and systems.
Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to grasp project requirements and specifications.
Review and analyse design blueprints, sketches, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with design principles.
Compile and organize technical data and specifications for each project.
Conduct quality control checks on finished technical drawings to ensure precision and completeness.
Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely project completion.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Draughtsperson or similar role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Revit.
Strong grasp of mechanical design principles and techniques.
Exceptional attention to detail and adept problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

Technical degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
