Join our client’s dynamic team in Johannesburg as a Mechanical Draughtsperson! At Hire Resolve, we’re seeking a skilled individual who can bring technical drawings and plans for mechanical components and systems to life.

Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings of mechanical components and systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to grasp project requirements and specifications.
• Review and analyse design blueprints, sketches, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with design principles.
• Compile and organize technical data and specifications for each project.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished technical drawings to ensure precision and completeness.
• Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely project completion.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in mechanical drafting and design.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Draughtsperson or similar role.
• 8 or more years of mechanical drafting experience. 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Revit. 
• Strong grasp of mechanical design principles and techniques.
• Exceptional attention to detail and adept problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Technical degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
