About the Role
Join our client’s dynamic team in Johannesburg as a Mechanical Draughtsman! At Hire Resolve, we’re seeking a skilled individual who can bring technical drawings and plans for mechanical components and systems to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings of mechanical components and systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to grasp project requirements and specifications.
- Review and analyse design blueprints, sketches, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with design principles.
- Compile and organize technical data and specifications for each project.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished technical drawings to ensure precision and completeness.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely project completion.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in mechanical drafting and design.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Draughtsperson or similar role.
- 8 or more years of mechanical drafting experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Revit.
- Strong grasp of mechanical design principles and techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and adept problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Technical degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
