Job Description

Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma) advantageous Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable vehicle Minimum of 57 years’ experience in a sales management role Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage high-performing sales teams Demonstrated success in driving accountability, operational excellence, and team performance Strong analytical and reporting skills, including KPI tracking, performance measurement, and data-driven decision-making Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting and data analysis tools Key Responsibilities Report directly to the Sales Director and provide ongoing support in the management of the sales function Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the sales department, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business objectives Drive sales team performance through effective leadership, accountability management, and productivity monitoring Ensure all customer commitments, quotations, follow-ups, requests, and sales activities are executed accurately and within agreed timelines Manage priorities, allocate tasks, and monitor the completion of key deliverables across the sales team Develop, maintain, and analyse sales reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to support informed business decisions Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and sales processes while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Prepare management reports, forecasts, and recommendations to enhance departmental performance and support strategic objectives Act as the key liaison between the Sales Director and the sales team, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and execution of business priorities Key Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent organisational and planning abilities High attention to detail and strong administrative capability Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Results-driven with the ability to perform under pressure Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
