About the Role

Based in Johannesburg North, this opportunity suits someone who can handle volume, think independently and bring fresh ideas to improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct credit checks for new and existing customers
- Create and maintain customer accounts
- Manage collections, overdue follow-ups and issue demand letters
- Capture and allocate customer payments accurately
- Prepare and distribute statements and invoices
- Negotiate and monitor payment plans
- Place accounts on hold where necessary
- Manage customer queries professionally and efficiently
- Process debit order runs
- Perform reconciliations, refunds and journals
- Prepare reports, age analysis and assist with risk management
- Provide audit support and documentation
- Assist with current process improvements and introduce innovative ideas
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Finance / Accounting (if no experience)
- OR a minimum of a Level 4 Credit Management Certificate (if experienced)
- Experience within logistics, FMCG, wholesale or similar industries
- Strong exposure to high-volume credit control environments
- Advanced MS Excel (non-negotiable)
- Experience on Accpac or MS Dynamics (essential)
- Strong understanding of risk management and credit processes
