About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing multinational and JSE listed business within the Financial Services environment, is seeking a commercially strong and highly driven Operations Leader / Operations Director to join their Johannesburg team. This opportunity is suited to a high performing operational professional with strong leadership capability, strategic thinking ability, and experience operating within demanding, fast paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize operational performance across business units
- Drive operational strategy, efficiency, and scalability initiatives
- Manage and mentor high performing teams
- Improve systems, processes, reporting, and operational controls
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategic business initiatives
- Ensure delivery excellence across operational functions
- Drive accountability, performance, and execution across teams
- Manage stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
Requirements
- 10 years’ operational leadership experience
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Experience within consulting, audit, advisory, financial services, or professional services environments advantageous
- Commercially minded with strong strategic thinking ability
- Strong academic track record
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organized with strong execution capability
