About the Role
As a Product Specialist – Forklifts at Route Management, you will be responsible for providing expert technical knowledge and application support to our sales, service, and customers. You will play a key role in driving product growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical product knowledge and application support to sales, service, and customers
- Assist with customer presentations, demonstrations, and site assessments
- Support sales activities through technical input, product recommendation, and quotations
- Assist with product training for internal teams and where required, customers
- Support after-sales activities by assisting with technical queries and escalations
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments
- Maintain accurate product documentation and specifications
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational guidelines, and Company protocols
- Perform related administrative duties and any additional reasonable tasks as required
Requirements
- Technical knowledge or experience in forklifts or material handling equipment
- Experience in a product specialist, technical support, or related role (advantageous)
- Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as required
