Johannesburg: Senior Finance Business Partner / Finance Executive

About the Role

The Finance Executive will be a senior leader responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the organization, working closely with the executive leadership team and divisional heads to drive business growth and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team
  • Actively collaborate with all divisional heads to ensure alignment between strategy and execution
  • Translate strategic plans into financial outcomes, KPIs, and measurable targets
  • Provide scenario modelling, investment analysis, and actionable insights
  • Influence decision making through strong commercial judgement and data driven recommendations
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, including systems, automation, and reporting enhancements
  • Improve data quality, reporting tools, and decision-support capabilities
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models for business cases, investments, and commercial decisions
  • Evaluate and structure commercial contracts, identifying key financial risks and value drivers
  • Translate complex commercial terms into financial outcomes and performance metrics

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (SA) / CA(SA)
  • Strong experience in financial modelling and commercial support
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract evaluation capability
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting and IFRS
  • ERP systems experience; Power BI or equivalent analytics tools advantageous
  • Advanced Excel
