Midrand: E-Commerce Manager

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities: E-Commerce & Marketplace Management Manage and optimise the companies online sales channels, including Takealot and future marketplace platforms. Ensure all product listings are accurate, complete, and maintained to the highest standard. Monitor marketplace compliance and listing performance. Coordinate new product launches across online channels. Sales & Revenue Growth Drive online sales growth and profitability. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance. Identify opportunities to increase revenue and market share. Develop and implement online sales strategies. Pricing & Promotions Manage pricing strategies in line with company objectives. Monitor competitor pricing and market trends. Coordinate online promotions, campaigns, and special offers. Evaluate campaign effectiveness and return on investment. Inventory & Stock Management Monitor stock availability across online channels. Coordinate with Warehouse and Procurement teams to minimise stock shortages. Forecast stock requirements based on sales trends. Identify slow-moving inventory and recommend promotional opportunities. Customer Experience & Returns Management Monitor customer reviews, ratings, and feedback. Analyse return trends and customer complaints. Work closely with the Aftersales and RMA teams to identify recurring product issues. Recommend improvements to product listings and customer experience. Reporting & Analysis Prepare regular sales and performance reports. Analyse online sales data and customer behaviour. Track key performance indicators (KPIs). Present recommendations and growth opportunities to management. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing on content, campaigns, and product launches. Support Sales teams with online channel opportunities. Liaise with Warehouse and Operations regarding stock planning and fulfilment. Assist Finance with reporting and reconciliation requirements where necessary.
