About the Role

As a Sales & Service Representative at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our water treatment systems across Johannesburg. Your primary responsibility will be to visit existing and new customer sites, conduct on-site services, and provide expert support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Visiting existing/new customer sites for on-site service
Checking dosing, pH, and conductivity equipment operation and condition
Performing minor repairs/replacement of on-site equipment (tubing, filters, etc.)
Checking chemical stock tank levels and chemical requirements
Dosing chemicals to chemical stock tanks/systems directly
Checking systems (open and closed cooling towers, closed loops, condensers, boilers, softeners, R.O systems, etc.) operation and condition
Collecting samples for analysis at in-house lab
Delivering samples to in-house and external labs
Writing reports (interpreting results, writing comments and recommendations)
Planning/calculating quotations, writing, sending, following up
Ensuring all paperwork is ready/completed and up to date per site invoices, job cards, reports, etc.
Assisting equipment department on ad hoc basis
Collaborating with team members in different areas of the company (admin, lab, equipment, management, etc.)

Requirements

Afrikaans/English language proficiency
Valid driver’s license and own transport
Good time management skills to ensure services, quotations, and reports are completed in a timely manner
Good communication skills both internally with team members and professionally with customers and potential customers
Intermediate/good computer skills (Microsoft Office training will be provided for any “out of the ordinary” software)
Must be in good health and meet medical fitness requirements for site access
