About the Role

Hire Resolve is urgently seeking a Senior Wastewater and Water Treatment Engineer in Johannesburg to join their team. The successful candidate will bring expertise in water and wastewater treatment projects, with a strong background in engineering principles and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement wastewater and water treatment systems
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver results
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors
Oversee the construction and commissioning of treatment plants

Requirements

15+ years relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment projects
BSc/BEng in Chemical, Civil, or Process Engineering
Master’s degree in Water, Environmental, or Process Engineering (advantageous)
Professional Registration (PrEng) with ECSA
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil Designer, and Civil3D
Familiarity with national standards such as SANS, SABS, and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of contract administration (GCC, FIDIC)
