About the Role
An Assistant Financial Controller is urgently required for a Conference & Functions Venue in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing company profits through strict controls on stock and company assets, ensuring the financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage company profits through tight controls on stock and company assets
- Maintain accurate financial records using Excel, Word, Google Drive, Sage, or similar accounting software
- Provide excellent administrative support to the management team
- Assist with procurement processes and manage POS systems
- Handle invoicing, debtors, creditors, VAT, and management accounts
- Ensure compliance with F&B COS (Cost of Service) procedures
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent administrative skills
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Google Drive, Sage, or similar accounting software
- Procurement knowledge and POS experience
- Invoicing, debtors, creditors, VAT, and management accounts expertise
