About the Role
HotelJobs, a specialist safari tour operator, is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to expand their online footprint, drive AI-driven growth, and generate high-quality safari enquiries. The successful candidate will lead a team of marketers and report directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Expanding the company’s organic online footprint
- Driving a consistent stream of high-quality safari enquiries
- Adopting, refining, and executing marketing strategies across paid, organic, and offline platforms (including newsletters, apps, websites, social media, CRM, and third-party channels)
- Leading and managing a multidisciplinary team of marketers, copywriters, designers, videographers, and social media managers to deliver on defined objectives and KPIs
- Producing clear, timely, and actionable reports to support strategic decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the B2C luxury safari industry in a senior marketing role with a proven, results-driven track record
- Deep understanding and extensive hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM
- Strong expertise in Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Proven proficiency in applying the latest AI-powered marketing tools and SEO strategies to expand online reach and generate high-quality safari enquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the B2C luxury safari industry in a senior marketing role with a proven, results-driven track record
- HubSpot CRM advanced proficiency in managing accounts, workflows, and reporting
- Google Analytics & Google Ads strong expertise in campaign tracking, optimization, and performance analysis
- WordPress skilled in content management, site updates, and SEO integration
- Canva & Photoshop creative design capabilities for marketing collateral, social media, and brand assets
