About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fertilizer Sales Representative to join our team in Malelane, Mpumalange. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with customers, identifying their specific crop and soil needs, and recommending suitable fertilizer products and application strategies that align with their agricultural goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of various fertilizer products, their compositions, benefits, and application methods
- Identify potential customers, build relationships, and understand their specific crop and soil needs
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of different fertilizer products to potential customers
- Coordinate fertilizer orders, ensuring accurate quantities and delivery schedules are met
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Develop cost estimates and proposals for fertilizer programs tailored to customers’ crop needs and budgets
- Generate reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights for management’s analysis
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Agricultural qualification (advantageous)
- 2 years of experience in agricultural sales
