About the Role

A well-established refrigeration company is seeking a skilled Senior Refrigeration Technician with solid commercial and industrial experience. The ideal candidate is technically strong, reliable, and ready to grow within a dynamic, expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with electronic controllers and valves
• Service and maintain multiplex and CO refrigeration systems
• Diagnose and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment
• Perform installations, faultfinding, and preventative maintenance
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
• Travel to client sites as required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years refrigeration experience (commercial & industrial)
• Trade Test: Refrigeration Mechanic
• NQF Level 4 or 5 in Refrigeration, HVAC, or Mechanical Engineering
• Apprenticeship completed through an accredited training provider
• FET College Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Strong knowledge of multiplex and CO systems
• Valid ID, passport, and driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel for work
• Clean criminal record
• Stable employment history
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4 or 5 in Refrigeration, HVAC, or Mechanical Engineering (if applicable)
• Apprenticeship completed through an accredited training provider (if applicable)
