About the Role

The Menlyn: 2873 Agile Master will be responsible for collaborating with teams to deliver technical products and applications within an agile/DevOps delivery model. This role focuses on automating environments, infrastructure, build, and deployment pipelines, while facilitating the removal of impediments and involving all stakeholders in solution design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members on system analysis, design, development, and testing for assigned technical products or applications.
  • Automate environments, infrastructure, build, and deployment pipelines.
  • Facilitate the removal of impediments and involve all stakeholders (Business/Developers/QA) in solution design.
  • Lead explorations to deliver Epics and User Stories from a Saga (e.g. story mapping).
  • Structure requirements in an Agile way for teams.
  • Ensure the sustainability of projects by taking appropriate actions where necessary.
  • Support multiple Feature Teams in complex Products/Sub-products.
  • Provide key insights into the evolution of Agile KPIs in complex Agile Teams to improve efficiencies.
  • Guide the team and organisation on the use and application of Agile methodologies and software development practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and colleagues across multiple sites/locations.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to lead teams in an Agile way, including discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Assess the agile maturity of the team and organisation and coach them to higher levels of maturity.
  • Assist with internal and external communication and improving transparency.
  • Demonstrate the status/performance of the team as a key element.
  • Support Product Owners with grooming processes and product backlog management.
  • Assist with project- and team coordination tasks when required.
  • Analyse processes from start to finish.
  • Responsible for defect lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all processes are investigated/considered in obtaining the specifications of user requirements (e.g., DoR).

Requirements

  • Relevant IT degree
  • 3 years plus experience in a similar role
  • More than 5 years of total experience in software engineering required
