About the Role

The Senior Production Manager position at CA Support offers an excellent opportunity to join a respected industry leader and contribute to the ongoing success of a high-performing production operation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of table grape production and leading our workforce to achieve optimal productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of table grape production, including planting, irrigation scheduling, fertilisation, pest, disease and weed control, pruning, harvesting, crop monitoring and related production activities.
  • Lead and manage labour planning, workforce supervision and personnel administration.
  • Maintain accurate production and operational records.
  • Coordinate employee transport and accommodation arrangements where required.
  • Oversee the maintenance of equipment, orchards and general farm infrastructure.
  • Drive productivity improvements and ensure effective cost management across the production unit.
  • Support the implementation of modern farming practices and continuous operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ proven experience in table grape production.
  • Sound knowledge of modern agricultural production practices.
  • Strong understanding of irrigation management and practices (advantageous).
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a broader management team.
