About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to join our team in Menlyn, South Africa. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP Time Management solutions, working closely with HR, payroll, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain time schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules) and time quotas
- Prepare and execute unit, integration and UAT test cases for time processes
- Collaborate with payroll consultants to ensure correct time-to-pay flows
- Develop strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Provide pragmatic configuration-based solutions and root-cause analysis for problem-solving
- Document “as-is” and “to-be” processes, system design specifications and user manuals
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of SAP Time Management (Time Evaluation, Time Wage Types, Time Types, Attendance/ Absence)
- Configuration experience with SAP HCM / Employee Central Time integration in S/4HANA environments
- Strong skills in requirements gathering and translating business processes into SAP configuration and rules
- Proficient in documenting system design specifications and user manuals
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Several 4 years of hands-on SAP Time Management / HCM functional experience in implementation and support projects
- Demonstrable track record of delivering SAP Time solutions, including configuration, testing and go-live support
