About the Role
WMS Secure is seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal/Counter Salesman to join our team in Midrand. As an Internal/Counter Salesman, you will provide exceptional customer service and generate sales by assisting customers with their inquiries, recommending suitable products such as tools, machinery parts, and hardware. This role requires a strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sales performance, stock, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries and recommend appropriate products
- Manage sales performance, ensuring meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions
- Conduct regular checks on stock levels and report discrepancies to management
- Provide daily operations and administrative support as required
- Attend weekly product and safety meetings, providing valuable input and suggestions for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) minimum
- Sales experience in technical, hardware, or machinery environment preferred
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle preferred in many roles
- Ability to understand tools, machinery, and technical specs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications

- Petty Cash & EFT Checks: Accurately manage petty cash and conduct EFT payment checks, ensuring that all misrouted payments are correctly handled.
- Weekly Meetings: Attend weekly product and safety meetings, providing valuable input and suggestions for continuous improvement.
