About the Role

The IT Services Manager position is a key leadership role that oversees the delivery of high-quality IT services to clients in Midrand. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in IT operations and service management, with a strong background in leadership and people management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee IT service desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Develop and implement service level agreements (SLAs) that meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with South African regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in IT Operations or Service Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Experience within a multi-vendor or enterprise environment will be highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with South African regulatory requirements, including POPIA and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Experience working within dynamic industries such as Finance or Telecommunications will be considered an advantage.

Qualifications

No formal qualifications are required for this position. However, relevant certifications may be preferred.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: R800 000 – R1 200 000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits package to be discussed during the interview process.
