Midrand: Warehouse Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily raw materials warehouse operations in our Midrand facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring uninterrupted supply of raw materials to production, and driving continuous improvement within warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily raw materials warehouse operations
  • Ensure accurate stock control, inventory integrity, and material traceability
  • Maintain uninterrupted supply of raw materials to production
  • Control all stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and warehouse transactions
  • Monitor stock accuracy, conduct stock counts, and investigate variances
  • Ensure all warehouse processes are accurately captured on ERP systems, preferably Syspro
  • Work closely with Production, Procurement, and Finance to maintain operational efficiency
  • Oversee supplier deliveries, receiving processes, and documentation control
  • Manage warehouse staff performance, productivity, training, and discipline
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and warehouse standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle
  • Strong stock control and inventory management experience
  • ERP system experience, preferably Syspro
  • Good understanding of FIFO, warehouse controls, and stock traceability
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
