About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welder to join our team in Pretoria East, Gauteng. As an Advanced TIG welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling aluminium and stainless steel components according to technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced TIG welding on aluminium and stainless steel components
- Fabrication and assembly according to technical drawings and specifications
- Grinding, finishing and fitment of fabricated components
- Working accurately from digital drawings, photos and specifications
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Ensuring workshop safety and cleanliness standards are maintained
- Working independently while meeting deadlines and production targets
Requirements
- Proven TIG welding experience within a fabrication or automotive environment
- Strong aluminium and stainless-steel welding ability
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent finishing and fabrication skills
- Reliable, disciplined and physically fit
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment
Qualifications
- Trade qualification (advantageous but not essential)
- Welding certification (advantageous)
