About the Role
The Group Financial Manager position is a critical leadership role within our growing business, responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting of group companies. This key role will provide direct access to decision-makers and meaningful involvement in business strategy, offering an opportunity to influence systems, processes, and financial direction across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial management and reporting of group companies
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning processes
- Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and regulatory compliance across the group
- Partner with management on strategic planning and operational decision-making
- Drive financial systems optimisation and ensure effective ERP utilisation
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support profitability and sustainable growth
- Manage relationships with auditors, banking institutions, and external advisors
- Oversee financial aspects relating to manufacturing, import, and export operations
- Support investment analysis and capital allocation decisions where applicable
Requirements
- CA(SA) or similar recognised financial qualification
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role
- Strong financial management experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience dealing with import and export operations
- Strong ERP and financial systems management experience
- Systems-oriented mindset with sound operational and process understanding
- Ability to operate effectively in a hands-on role within a small, collaborative team
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- High levels of integrity and strong attention to detail
