About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Delmas, Mpumalanga is seeking a Senior Creditors Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our accounts department, you will be responsible for reconciling vendor accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments. You will also provide support to your allocated team members with daily duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile vendor accounts to prepare for payments.
- Ensure legal entities are correct on Invoices and Statements.
- Finalize and approve reconciliations according to internal deadlines.
- Correctly reconcile and pay invoices according to payment terms.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and claims that have not been credited the previous month.
- Resolve outstanding invoices and claims on reconciliation.
- Follow up on queries raised on accounts by supervisors.
- Maintain cordial lines of communication with suppliers and internal departments.
- Ensure queries raised on reconciliations by the Creditors Supervisor are resolved in time.
- Follow up on statuses of accounts against deadlines.
- Process invoices correctly where necessary.
- Send workflow query invoices to procurement department and follow up on responses.
- Send workflow invoices to Invoice department for fixing timeously.
- Green flag invoices where possible.
- Train and update team members on changes affecting their day-to-day duties.
- Take full responsibility for the performance of all direct reports, motivating and managing them in relation to quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives.
