About the Role
A leading player in the agricultural retail and supply chain sector is seeking a Senior Manager Procurement to join their Supply Chain Division based in Paarl. This exciting senior-level opportunity is focused on managing procurement, with a strong emphasis on developing category strategies for infrastructure and mechanisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies for infrastructure and mechanisation
- Drive supplier collaboration and product innovation
- Oversee governance, pricing models (SPP), and contract management
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships
- Conduct ongoing market intelligence and apply insights to strategy
Requirements
- Relevant B degree or equivalent qualification
- 810 years experience in a senior procurement or agri-related management role
- Strong knowledge of agricultural supply chains and infrastructure
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, particularly AI-driven solutions
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours during peak seasons
