About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team in Pinetown. As a key member of our construction department, you will be responsible for overseeing site safety, supervising construction activities, and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport staff to and from job sites (personally or via company drivers)
• Ensure staff follow all project and company procedures
• Oversee site safety, enforcing all relevant safety protocols
• Supervise construction activities and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Interpret construction drawings and comply with regulations
• Communicate with clients and consultants to ensure project flow
• Report to directors on progress, deliverables, and site needs
• Manage costs, labour, and time constraints to meet project goals
• Maintain the company’s brand and protect assets
• Track and enforce project timelines

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in construction supervision
• Experience in homes, offices, factories, and both domestic and commercial work
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Understanding of building regulations and drawings
• Valid drivers license (dip Civil Engineering or Construction Management beneficial)
